Continuing from my previous post, Day 2 was little better organized and typical touristy day in Goa. My friend wanted to see the Basilica of Bom Jesus. We rode out on our two wheeler from Baga to Bom Jesus. That was a back-breaking 40 minutes ride, which neither of us will ever do again. It was a bad ride because the bikes for rent are not in the best of conditions.
TIP: if you plan to go on long rides, either ride solo or get a bike which is in a good condition.
So after a painful 40-minute ride we reached the Basilica.

Relics of St. Francis Xavier
But for whatever reason, I liked more what I saw on the other side of the road. The other side of the road, inside a well maintained campus are:
1. Archaeological museum – Entrance fee is Rs. 1o and no photography allowed.
2. Church of St. Francis of Assisi
3. The Sé Catedral de Santa Catarina AKA Se Cathedral – this was the first time I visited this church and I loved this church. It was in a better condition than the other churches and had more ‘work of art’ to savour. It was built in 1619. You can read all about it in Wikipedia.

Be aware of the dress code in this place. Dress modestly.
After enjoying every bit of this church and then see my friend chased by dogs, we went for lunch in locality where I look forward to going for a long walk with my DSLR and take some wonderful photos of the old Goan architecture.
After that went to the resort and stayed out of the sun till 5 PM. At around 5 PM, we rode to the Anjuna beach.
After Anjuna we made our way to Vagator beach to enjoy the sunset from the cliffs by the beach. This was another best moment/discovery in this trip.
Vagotor beach – the place to be during to see the sunset.
This was one of the best moments of the trip. Might be because I chanced upon it and had no expectations.
