Day 3. Relatively a lazy day and the last day of the trip. That day when you realize you need buy souvenirs for the loved ones. Had lunch in Baga, not a great place, took a really long time to serve (even by Goa standards).
My main mission for the day was to go to this wonderful guest house / home stay that I stayed in some years back (from memory, as i did not recall the name of the place). Walked from the resort to the Aguada – siolim road junction and took a bus from there to Candolim (one of my favourite beaches, not so crowded). I got down at the Candolim Market stop and walked to the Candolim beach in search of a homestay I had stayed some years back. I’ve been wanting to recommend that place but couldn’t because of the above reason. So, from memory, I walked the streets and reached the place.
Dioros Guest House, Candolim
Location: here (200 mts from the beach)
Do check it out if you go to Goa (north goa) next time. It’s a safe place and they serve breakfast as well. It is maintained by an elderly couple.
After that I walked to the Candolim beach, admiring the sunset. Walked till Sinquerium beach and back.
Bought some Bebinca (Goan Sweet) to give to friends. Try it out when you are there.
This ends the three part series of my November Goa Trip with the office team. I also did a trip in December 2016 with two of my friends by road (Duster 4×4) from Blore to Goa (mainly south goa). I will write about that later.
Do reach out to me @joejayanth if you have any comments.
